Emily Blunt Is Regal in a Gilded Gown With a transparent Tulle Skirt at the 2024 Golden Globes

Emily Blunt took Hollywood glamour to a whole new level for her appearance at the 2024 Golden Globes.

The actor walked the red carpet tonight in a gilded gown with a transparent white tulle skirt that we just cannot take our eyes off of. The see-through white dress custom-made by Alexander McQueen features spaghetti straps, a wide skirt, a subtle V neck, and a fitted bodice embellished with gold sequins in an abstract floral-like embroidery.

Blunt added even more shimmer to the regal ensemble with a bold gold necklace in a leaf motif encrusted with tiny white diamonds, by Tiffany & Co. She also wore a large gold-and-diamond cuff and ring, and diamond stud earrings. Her glittery gold manicure matched her jewelry, and she finished the look with natural, glowy makeup, and a messy bun.

Her Jimmy Choo shoes were hidden underneath her flowy, layered gown.

Blunt is nominated for one award tonight, Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture, for her role in Oppenheimer. She is up against Danielle Brooks (The Color Purple), Julianne Moore (May December), Rosamund Pike (Saltburn), and Da’Vine Joy Randolph (The Holdovers).

Oppenheimer, a drama about the life of J. Robert Oppenheimer, the physicist known as “the father of the atomic bomb,” became the highest-grossing biographical movie of all time upon its release this year. Directed by Christopher Nolan, the movie opened alongside Greta Gerwig’s Barbie, which broke plenty of records of its own—forming the unstoppable box-office duo dubbed “Barbenheimer.”

Tonight, Oppenheimer is nominated in eight categories: Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Director – Motion Picture, Best Screenplay – Motion Picture, Best Original Score, new category Cinematic and Box Office Achievement, Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Drama, Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture, and Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture (for Blunt’s performance).
