Emmerdale airs shocking Belle and Tom flashback scene
Emmerdale has aired a shocking Belle and Tom flashback scene as Lydia tries to find the truth about what happened to Craig.
In Monday's (October 30) episode, Lydia began to question the Dingles after Craig Reed's body was found.
"We'll be here as long as it takes to discover the truth," she told the group gathered in The Woolpack. "We all know everyone's been plotting to get him."
A series of flashbacks revealed what took place when Sam and Cain tied Craig up in a remote barn. Lydia arrived and confronted Craig, shouting at him: "You raped me."

"I really thought the old me was gone, until now. Seeing you sat there like the pathetic bully that you are, I realise that I've still got some fight left in me," she said.
"I’m not going to let you take anything more from me. I'm taking my strength and my power back, and there's nothing you can do about it."
She then told Sam and Cain to let him go.
Sam and Cain told the Dingles that when Lydia left, they loosened his ropes to let him make his own escape, but it wasn't clear if they were telling the truth.
"He was alive when we left him," Cain said. "I was just protecting my family. I didn't kill Craig. End of."
The family then turned their attention to Belle and her alibi. Flashbacks showed her and Tom having a romantic evening together. He then proposed to her, but she said no.

Tom got angry when he was rejected, and he shockingly pushed Belle to the ground when she tried to stop him leaving. She hit her head on the coffee table and was bleeding.
"I shouldn’t have pushed you like that," Tom said, and promised not to hurt her again. "I swear if you give me another chance, it will never happen ever again."
He started crying and she comforted him, saying, "I've already forgotten it."
Belle didn't tell the Dingles what happened. It isn't clear if this is the start of an issue-based storyline for her.
Back in the Woolpack, Lydia got a call from Billy who said the police had established a crime scene and were taking statements.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
