Yahoo News Emmerdale fans share 'wish' after Samson actor Sam Hall issues three-word answer to quizzing on future
Emmerdale fans shared their 'wish' for Samson Dingle to stay in the Dales amid rumours he's set to leave. The teen hasn't been far from trouble in recent years, first finding he'd gotten Amelia Spencer pregnant before wanting nothing to do with baby Esther.
He later seemingly came around to the idea of being a dad but only in a shocking plan to sell his daughter. More recently, Samson has been stirring up trouble with his friend Josh Cope.
They attempted a robbery at The Hide, leading to Samson being stabbed when Josh pushed him into Matty Barton, who was holding a knife at the time. Matty has since been sent to prison after Josh convinced Samson to falsely accuse Matty of intentionally stabbing him.

It comes as it was reported earlier this year that Sam, 20, had been axed from the hit ITV soap after 15 years and while no exit has been confirmed as of yet, Sam, who has remained tight-lipped about his existing storylines, insisted back in May that he is not being killed off.
Then, during Wednesday's (July 10) Loose Women, actors Sam Hall, who plays Samson, and James Hooton, who stars as dad Sam Dingle, were grilled about their soap futures. Guest panellist, Mariella Frostrup, asked Sam: "Do you reckon you've got another 15 years in you, Sam?"
To which the young star gave a three-word response: "I hope so!" Meanwhile, the same question was asked to James, who has played Sam for almost 30 years, as he quipped: "I'll try my best, as long as they'll have me, I'll stay there!"
But when a clip of the interview was shared by Emmerdale's social media teams, it became clear a lot of people what Samson - and therefore Sam - to stay.
