Emmerdale favourite Ryan Hawley has bagged a new TV role.

As Emmerdale viewers know, Ryan, 38, played character Robert Sugden in the soap. He appeared between 2014 and 2019.

The story of Robert and love interest Aaron Dingle, known to viewers as Robron, captured the hearts of many Emmerdale fans, making them one of soap’s most loved couples ever. However, the love couldn’t last.

Their lives were torn apart in 2019 when their love story ended with Robert Sugden going to prison as part of a major Emmerdale storyline. Since leaving the ITV soap, acting star

Ryan has appeared in Silent Witness playing Michael Robson in two episodes. He was seen sporting a long hairstyle and a beard.

Ryan will play a role in Casualty in an episode set to air on Saturday, June 15. Ryan will play the role of Jamie Cleveland - a member of the board at Holby City Hospital.
