Emmerdale star Michelle Hardwick has revealed that she and her wife Kate Brooks are expecting a second baby together.
The actor - who is best known for playing Vanessa Woodfield in the ITV soap - shared the happy news on Instagram, saying they were "super excited".
She uploaded a snap of the couple's toddler Teddy underneath a screen which said: "Coming this winter... Baby Brooks #2."
"We are super excited about our gorgeous news!" she wrote.
"I’m 20 weeks today and can almost rest a cup of tea on my bump."
She added the hashtag "#bigbrother" to the sweet message.
Hardwick tied the knot with soap producer Brooks at Graceland in Memphis in 2019 and they welcomed Teddy in October 2020.
Earlier this year, the actor said that she would love to give him a sibling.
"We’d definitely love Teddy to have a brother or sister," she told OK! magazine.
"And if we’re lucky enough, fantastic – for him as well, not just for us.”
The pair were inundated with messages of congratulations after sharing their news.
Emmerdale's Anna Nightingale posted a string of heart emojis and said: "Waaaaaa! Best news ever. So much love to you guys x."
"FINALLY!!!" said co-star Lisa Riley.
"I can tell my Dad and Brother now. Love to you both, you know how elated we are for you!! So much love."
Hardwick replied: "Haaaaaa! I feel like I told you years ago! Huge loves right back to you my darling."
Gogglebox's Izzi Warner sent congratulations, adding: "Aww how lovely."
Actor Charlie Condou said it was "amazing".
Fans were also thrilled for the screen star, who has been in the soap since 2012.
"So excited for all of you!" one wrote.
"Congratulations Michelle and Kate. Teddy is going to be an awesome big brother."
