Emmerdale Nate Robinson actor Jurell Carter real life - rumoured exit, first choice career and infamous ‘spin bike blunder'

Jurell Carter is well-known for his role as Nate Robinson on Emmerdale. Since joining the soap in 2019, he has been involved in a number of intense storylines including an affair with Moira Dingle.

In a shock twist, it was later revealed that Nate was Cain's child from a previous relationship and he wanted to get revenge on his father. However, the pair managed to fix their relationship after Cain admitted he had no idea that Nate was his son.

Unfortunately for Nate he recently found himself involved with another affair but this time, it's his wife cheating on him.

As viewers know, wife Tracy Robinson had an affair with Nate’s uncle Caleb Dingle earlier this year. Away from the ITV hit soap, Jurell appeared in a number of other TV shows including Doctors and miniseries Kiri.

Jurell Emmerdale ‘exit’

Jurell Carter will reportedly exit the ITV soap in the coming months. According to The Sun, the star will leave the village in a major storyline later this year.

A source told the newspaper: "Nate has been at the centre of some huge storylines and his exit will be no different. It will be dramatic and explosive and will go down in Emmerdale history. It won’t be one to miss.

"Jurell has loved being on the soap but he’s a young actor and it’s understandable he wants to spread his wings."

Emmerdale has been approached for a comment regarding the rumoured exit.

Unknown football career

Before turning to acting, Jurell revealed he was setting himself up for a career in football. The actor had been dreaming of a career playing for his beloved club Birmingham City, and had already started working on making his way on to the team - including bagging a scholarship to play in America.

However, due to the sky-high cost of the fees to carry on, Jurell was forced to drop the idea and fall back on his second plan of acting.

Speaking to OK! Magazine he explained: "Since I was a kid, football was my life. I played all the time, in school and out of school.

"I was confident with football and even though I loved acting, if you put me on a stage, I would crumble. I wasn't confident to get up in front of everyone. I am now so grateful football didn't work out.”

‘Spin bike’ blunder

Jurell previously left Instagram followers shocked after sharing what some fans mistakenly thought was an X-rated video - only to discover it was anything but. The clip in question showed a bare-chested Jurell from the torso up, sweating, shaking, and bobbing up and down, The Mirror reports. He captioned the story: "Physically I'm sweating on a dull day in Yorkshire. Mentally I'm in Jamaica on the beach sippin' couple cocktails... we move."

After viewers reaction, Jurell was forced to respond with some laughing emojis as he explained: "Let a man live. I was on my spin bike." At the time, one person commented: "It looked like he had posted his own sex tape by mistake. Disappointed to realise he was just riding his bike."
