Yahoo News Emmerdale now has another real-life couple on set
Emmerdale has another real-life couple on set now that Mark Jordon has made a surprise return to the show.
Fans have just seen Mark reprise his role as Dan Spencer's older brother Daz after three years away from the ITV soap.
Monday night's episode saw Kerry Wyatt spot Daz while out shopping in town, becoming concerned when she realised that he was homeless and clearly struggling.
However, what some fans may not have realised while watching is that Laura Norton – who plays Kerry – is actually Mark's real-life partner.
The pair struck up a friendship during Mark's first stint in Emmerdale in 2014 and became a couple afterwards, celebrating their two-year anniversary earlier this year.
As Kerry is the only person who knows about Daz's situation for now, Laura and Mark look likely to work closely together as Daz's return storyline continues.
The down-to-earth couple have never really spoken much about their relationship in the press, but Mark recently paid a touching tribute to his girlfriend on Twitter.

Emmerdale's Zoe Henry and Jeff Hordley are also a real-life couple, but they hardly ever share scenes. Well, at least until last Friday's episode when Rhona Goskirk ranted at Cain Dingle at the pub.
The show's longest-serving cast member Chris Chittell (Eric Pollard) is also married to co-star Lesley Dunlop (Brenda Walker).
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV.
