The trouble is, Charity and Mack are set to be left shocked when PC Swirling reveals that the vehicle has been involved in a robbery. Hence the wannabe bride and groom ending up in a cell, where Charity comes to the conclusion that Moira must have set them up.
Chloe, meanwhile, will be seen going into labour, just as Charity and Mack are released from prison and driven to their nuptials by PC Swirling in the commandeered A-Team van. But at the hospital, Chloe is demanding her phone to message a mystery person. And when Mack then receives a text, he heads off on a mission.
With Charity left fearing the worst at the church, Chloe is relieved when a visitor enters her room. Has Mack arrived to be her birthing partner and left Charity in the lurch?
Amelia and Noah reunite – but where does Samson stand?
A supportive Noah tries to reassure Amelia when she voices concerns that her lump could be cancerous and reveals her fear that Esther will be left with Samson should anything happen to her. But Amelia is left feeling further overwhelmed when Noah says that he still wants to be with her.
Noah then goes on to confide in Lydia, who lets rip at Samson for the way he dealt with Amelia. But Sam is more sympathetic to his son: it’s clear to him that Amelia’s ordeal has triggered trauma about the loss of Samson’s mother.
Sam is determined to be there for his boy, who’s worried for Esther but anguished that he can’t be a supportive dad. Noah, meanwhile, is left overjoyed when Amelia admits how much she’s missed him – the result being that they get back together. But when Samson subsequently tries to apologise to Amelia, she doesn’t have the energy to hear him out. Will he be able to put his point across and explain his bad behaviour?
Bernice’s life-modelling lesson
When Bernice is told by Nicola that her menopause group is boring, she decides to enliven the next meeting by organising a life-drawing class. But while loitering outside the cafe, Heath overhears the announcement and gets excited about the prospect a young, naked model being on the premises.
However, on the day of the class, the model who’s been booked calls in sick, so Bernice seizes the opportunity and poses herself. Elliot, meanwhile, is outside the café and gently pushes the door open before surreptitiously taking a photo. But his face is set to drop when he realises that the model is actually Bernice.
Paddy’s divorce plan
Chas is taken aback when Paddy announces that he’s already been in touch with a solicitor about the divorce. Outlining his reasoning, Paddy then explains that he fails to see the point in prolonging things and asks if Chas if she’d like to make a joint divorce applicaton.
But as one couple organise their split, another are planning their union. But Nicky’s plan to get married as soon as possible backfires when Gabby questions his reasons for wanting to get spliced in a hurry.
