Emmerdale spoilers: Lydia opens up to Kim, stranger could be danger for Chas
Chas takes a new man she meets back to the Woolpack on Emmerdale next week – but might she be in peril?
Plus, Lydia breaks down and reveals all to Kim about her rape ordeal. And when Charity finds herself alone in Chloe’s company, will she reveal all about her recent fling with Mack?

Trauma for Chas
It’s the anniversary of Grace’s death and Chas is left frustrated when daughter Eve insists on going to the swings rather than the graveside. And when she finally gets to the memorial site, Chas is left feeling emotionally stuck in the past when Paddy reflects on how life has moved on.

Later that day, though, Chas encounters gangster Harry, who introduces himself as “Simon” and buys her a drink. The pair end up bonding over the fact that they’ve both lost children, but his intentions remain unclear.
And Chas is later left admitting that bringing him home was a mistake. No problem, he says, and agrees to sleep on the sofa. But after Chas heads upstairs, Harry searches the back room and is seen staring coldly at a photo of her and Caleb.
Eve moves out of the Woolpack
The morning after the night before sees Harry – who’s still posing as “Simon” – heading out of the Woolpack, but not before he’s noticed by an unimpressed Paddy. Chas, though, is unwilling to discuss things with Paddy.
Subsequently, a miffed Paddy tells Chas that Eve wants to live with him from now on. In retaliation, Chas makes an unfortunate comment about Mandy before being forced to leave Eve at Tennants with a concerned Paddy. Outside the house, now a tear-stained sight, Chas calls “Simon”….
Lydia confides in Kim about the rape
When Samson questions why he was let go from his work experience, Craig takes the opportunity to twist the story to suit his fabricated version of event. The result of all this being that Samson arrives at the conclusion that something happened between Lydia and Craig.
Samson is then overheard by Mandy chatting to Cathy about what’s going on – the problem with this being that Mandy then assumes Lydia and Craig must have been having an affair. When Lydia is then confronted by Mandy, she’s horrified and rushes from the Dingles’ in a state of panic.
Following this showdown, Kim is shaken to see Lydia sobbing. And unable to keep things bottled up any longer, Lydia reveals what happened to her. After consoling her friend, Kim’s advice to her is to tell Sam about the rape. But will Kim’s wise words get through to Lydia?
Will a guilty Charity reveal all to Chloe?
After discovering that Mack is engaged, Charity turns on the charm with Liam and demands he take her out that evening. But Charity and Liam’s date at the B&B turns sour when Chloe and Mack arrive and are seated at the next table. After getting an attack of the green-eyed monster, Charity’s façade crumbles and she lashes out at Liam.
The following day, Charity does her best to avoid Chloe, only to be dragged into a conversation in the playground. Events then take an unexpected turn when Reuben cries out and is revealed to be suffering from a high temperature.
With no one else to turn to, Chloe begs Charity to take her and the unwell baby to hospital. Thankfully, Reuben is eventually given the all-clear by doctors, but will Charity take this opportunity to put Chloe in the picture about her recent one-night stand with Mack?
