Yahoo News Emmerdale teases mystery intruder in Rishi Sharma storyline

Rishi Sharma will be at the centre of a sinister storyline in new Emmerdale scenes.
The character played by Bhasker Patel returns home but can't shake the eerie feeling that something is off with his house.
He's pretty sure someone is in the house, but he doesn't have any hard evidence to prove it.

The next day, Rishi's suspicions are seemingly confirmed when he realises someone has eaten his crisps overnight. However, he still doesn't find any trace of an intruder.
Rishi opens up to Jai, but his son thinks he is only covering his loneliness following the recent departure of Priya, who relocated to London after taking a job in the capital.
Despite Rishi is really missing Priya, his daughter has nothing to do with what's going on in the house. Will he manage to find out what's happening and convince others to help?

Priya actress Fiona Wade left Emmerdale in January after a 12-year stint in the role. Her time on the soap saw the character involved in big storylines, including one tackling eating disorders.
After her exit, Wade called her decision to leave "one of the hardest" she's ever had to make.
"When you've been somewhere for that long and that's your every day, it's hard and feels sad," she explained at the time. "But as every actor knows, you need to challenge yourself and that's very important too."
Meanwhile, the soap is gearing up to air its first-ever all-male special, tying in with Paddy's depression storyline.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
