Yahoo News Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle attacks Liam Cavanagh in new scenes

Aaron Dingle has attacked Dr Liam Cavanagh in shocking Emmerdale scenes.
The last few weeks in the Dales have seen Aaron trying to hide from his mother Chas Dingle that he has tested positive for the faulty BRCA2 gene — not wanting to worry her as she seeks breast cancer treatment.
Chas has started to suspect that Aaron may not be telling her the truth, leading to tense scenes as she questioned Liam in Monday's (April 1) episode.
Liam was bound by patient confidentiality, though Chas could see through his evasion as he tried to make a quick exit.

Chas decided to ask Aaron flat out whether or not he'd tested positive for the faulty gene. While Aaron initially tried to deny it, Chas could see through his obvious anguish.
Aaron made it clear he wouldn't be following up with the doctor, saying he couldn't live his life worrying "every little twinge was cancer". Chas begged him to reconsider, suggesting the doctor would be able to provide helpful guidance.
This only infuriated Aaron, as he blamed Liam for making matters worse for his family by not covering for him.
In a shocking final scene, Aaron confronted Liam at the surgery. As Liam tried to explain that there was no reason for Chas to worry, Aaron viciously punched him in the face.
"You stay away from me and my mum," Aaron demanded. "You understand me?"
The faulty BRCA2 gene runs in the Dingle family, as Chas's mother Faith Dingle also had it. Faith tragically died a few years ago from breast cancer and now Chas has developed the disease.
While Aaron has been trying to turn the corner following his volatile behaviour last year, has he crossed a line this time?
