Yahoo News Emmerdale's Belle to catch out Tom over secret spying

Emmerdale's Belle King receives a shock next week as she discovers that her abusive husband Tom has been secretly monitoring her movements.
Belle gets more than she'd bargained for when she looks at Tom's phone, which has an app installed to keep tabs on her at all times.
The revelation comes as part of Belle's ongoing pregnancy storyline.
Belle discovered that she's expecting a baby in Monday night's episode (June 10). Next week, she confides in a midwife and explains that she wants a termination.

Belle books an appointment for a scan and is sad that it's come to this, but she knows that she can't keep the baby after Tom's vile behaviour.
Later, Belle makes plans to attend her appointment and calls up a taxi firm, but she's forced to abruptly hang up when Tom returns home.
Tom compliments Belle's make-up and she gets an idea, asking him to take a photo. As Tom pulls out his phone, Belle discreetly takes note of his passcode.
When Tom heads upstairs, Belle unlocks his phone and tries to access his banking app to pay for the taxi. However, Belle catches sight of the secret app and is disturbed to realise that Tom has been tracking her movements.

Belle starts to feel trapped as she fails to convince Tom to let her use the car. She considers risking it and driving herself to the abortion clinic anyway.
Putting a new plan in motion, Belle asks Amelia Spencer to look after Piper the dog for a while. Belle slips her phone into baby Esther's pram in order to mislead Tom about her movements.
Checking that she's not being watched, Belle gets into Tom's car and drives off to the clinic.

Once there, Belle struggles to make sense of her situation with Tom after his months of gaslighting and abuse.
Although the situation is still muddled in her mind, Belle is adamant that she can't keep the baby.
Emmerdale will air these scenes on Tuesday, June 18 and Wednesday, June 19.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
