Emmerdale's Chloe Harris faces terror from dad Damon

Emmerdale spoilers follow.

Chloe Harris has faced terror from her dad Damon in Emmerdale.

Earlier in the week, it was revealed that the villain who viewers previously knew as Harry was actually Chloe's long-lost father Damon Harris scoping out the village in disguise all this time.

There have been many references to Damon being a very dangerous man through Chloe's time in the soap, though it was thought that he was locked away in prison.

In Friday's episode (December 15), there were alarming signs Damon was being controlling over his daughter when he confiscated her mobile phone so she couldn't leave.

Earlier, Damon has had his criminal goons take Mackenzie hostage to force him to sign away custody of Chloe's son Reuben, with Chloe led to believe Mack will simply be let go once he signs.

Chloe initially tried to free Mack behind her father's back, but the crook's caught up with the hostage before he could even flee the property.

When she tried to get her father to reveal what his plan is, Damon shut her down by ordering her to leave all the planning to him.

"We'll get you settled in a little town in the sun somewhere. Cafes, olive trees... we can get you fresh bread," Damon promised.

However, when Damon admitted it would take a few more days to get everything sorted, Chloe complained that it was starting to "feel dangerous".

"Chloe, you asked for my help and that's what you're getting," he coldly told his daughter.

In the final scene of the night, Damon reacted harshly as Chloe reflected on the life she briefly had with Mackenzie and Reuben.

Damon ordered his daughter to never say Mackenzie's name again, before telling her to hand over her mobile phone because he was "the only family" she needed.

He even forced his daughter to say: "[Mackenzie] doesn't exist."

Has Chloe made a deal with the devil?
