Yahoo News Emmerdale's Mary Goskirk grows closer to Faye in new scenes

Emmerdale's Mary Goskirk has had a rocky romance with Faye so far, ever since they started dating a few months back. Some of their dates has been pretty disastrous, but they've managed to find some common ground to bond over.
However, it looks like things are going to take a positive step forward in scenes set to air next week.

As we'll see, the two are on another date and are getting more comfortable with one another. The duo have started opening up to each other about themselves, so much so that Mary impulsively moves in for a kiss!
Thankfully, Faye is delighted by her bold move.
Later on in the week, they plan another date, which they both start worrying about. Things threaten to go south when Faye thinks she's been stood up, but Mary's actually fallen asleep.

The date gets on track though when Mary wakes up. She eventually gathers her courage and asks Faye to come up to the bedroom with her.
Will they take their romance to their next level?
Mary actress Louise Jameson spoke last year about the plans for her character to have a romance, and how it's adding new dimension to the role.
"I love that she's complex; one minute you wish she'd shut her mouth as she doesn't censor herself, and the next she'll be adorable and kind," she said.
"Mary is like an onion, peel off another layer and there's something else to discover."
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
