Yahoo News Emmerdale's Vinny left mortified after a big mistake with Gabby

Emmerdale's Vinny Dingle faces humiliation next week, when he misjudges his friendship with Gabby Thomas.
With Vinny being kept away from his friend Belle King by her controlling new husband Tom, he has been feeling increasingly isolated, and in scenes airing next week, he opens up to Paddy Dingle about his feelings of loneliness.
In an attempt to cheer Vinny up, Paddy's fiancée Mandy Dingle asks Gabby if she could spend some time with Vinny. Gabby agrees, and the pair are soon enjoying each other's company in the Hide.

Unfortunately, Vinny misreads the situation and goes in to kiss Gabby, only to be left mortified when it becomes clear that she doesn't feel the same way.
When Vinny apologises to Gabby for getting things wrong, she lets slip that Mandy and Paddy were involved in their meet-up.
When Vinny catches up with Paddy about the situation, Paddy feels guilty when he sees how embarrassed and angry Vinny is about what happened with Gabby.

Gabby is later given some food for thought by Laurel Thomas, as Laurel suggests that Gabby should move away from her usual type of man.
Could Gabby soon be reconsidering the situation with Vinny?

Vinny and Gabby's connection was originally sparked by abusive Tom, who recently decided that he needed to find Vinny a girlfriend in an attempt to stop him from spending so much time with Belle.
After pretending to bond with Vinny, Tom started to play matchmaker between him and Gabby - but his plotting has all been part of his attempt to isolate Belle from her loved ones, as his behaviour toward his wife has become increasingly controlling and violent.
Tom has also been pressuring Belle to have a baby with him, despite Belle not being ready for such a huge life change, and he has started to become violent with Belle in a horrifying new development.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
