Glastonbury viewers were left emotional on Saturday night as Coldplay introduced a 'legendary' special guest to the stage. The band, led by Chris Martin, delivered their fifth Glastonbury headline performance on the Pyramid Stage, performing a string of hits including Yellow, Adventure of A Lifetime and Viva la Vida.

As the near two-hour set drew to a close, lead singer Chris Martin brought out an unexpected guest - Hollywood actor and Back to The Future star Michael J Fox. Despite living with Parkinson's disease, Michael joined the band on stage to play guitar for two songs, including the hit Fix You, leaving many viewers at home deeply moved.

Social media was abuzz with reactions, with @slinehan1 writing on X, formerly Twitter: "Awwwww wow Michael J Fox playing guitar with Coldplay is the most beautiful thing I've seen on all my years of watching #Glastonbury tbh. Fully crying."
