England fans have been quick to react as iconic pundit Roy Keane has ditched his signature look.

The 52-year-old cult hero is arguably as much known for his thick beard as he is his grumpy nature. But as he appeared on ITV on Wednesday as the coverage of the England vs Netherlands semi final got underway, Roy looked considerably different.

The former professional player and coach was freshly shaven, and it sent social media into a bit of a meltdown.

On X, Susan said: "Roy Keane has lost 10 years shaving that beard off" and @earychicken said: "Roy Keane looking like a youngster without that big bushy beard". Theresa said: "[In my honest opinion], much better without the beard" and Simon said: "Could never predict Roy Keane having a shave!"
