English bulldog Doris, was taken to a rescue centre and it was soon determined she needed help to be able to breathe properly. The gorgeous pooch has a gentle and loving nature and has touched the hearts of everyone she meets, however she needed to have specialist surgery.

Doris’s has already had surgery in a bid to help her breathe, and she continued to struggle. Sadly the rescue team at the Cotswold Cats and Dogs Home have been told Doris is in urgent need of further specialist surgery.

Doris faces a constant struggle . Her adorable face, which is flattened due to her breed, unfortunately comes with terrible respiratory challenges. Every breath is a laborious effort, and it breaks our hearts to see her suffer. With the help of our amazing supporters, just like you, our beautiful girl underwent Brachycephalic surgery in April but unfortunately Doris has continued to struggle with recovery.

There is hope. Doris has been offered a lifeline in the form of specialist surgery in Cambridgeshire, that can alleviate her breathing difficulties and give her the chance to live a full, happy, healthy life. However, this surgery comes at the significant cost of £5,000. We are asking for your help, once more, to help us give Doris the surgery that could change her life. It will be amazing to see this courageous young dog live a normal life.

Your generosity can make all the difference to Doris. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will help towards the cost of her surgery and give her the gift of an easy breath; something most of us take for granted and if you are able to make a donation, please visit here.
