Arsenal marked Arsene Wenger's first game since the Frenchman announced his decision to step down with a late 4-1 victory over London rivals West Ham.

Marko Arnautovic cancelled out Nacho Monreal's second-half opener, but Aaron Ramsey's cross beat everyone and dropped inside Joe Hart's far post before Alexandre Lacazette scored twice to put the Gunners in charge late on.

The win moved the Arsenal four points clear of Burnley, who drew 1-1 at Stoke, while West Ham remain six points clear of the drop.

On Saturday, West Brom came from two goals down to draw with Liverpool as Darren Moore continued an unbeaten start to life as West Brom manager.

Goals from Danny Ings and Mohamed Salah put the Reds in charge only for Jake Livermore and, in the 87th minute, Salomon Rondon to claim a point. It does look too late to save the Baggies from relegation, though.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace and Watford played out a 0-0 draw as Wilfried Zaha was twice denied a penalty after strong appeals.
