Manchester United icon Eric Cantona has starred in the club's latest promotional video as they announced a new partnership with Snapdragon.

The United States technology firm will be the front-of-shirt sponsor for both the men's and women's for the 2024/25 season, as they will appear on the home, away, and third kits. After striking an agreement in September worth a reported £60million per-year, the organisation will replace TeamViewer after three seasons.

In conjunction with the launch of the new home strip, which was inspired by the Busby Babes strip of 1952, the partnership with the processors and the Premier League giants was launched. Snapdragon technologies can be found in more than three billion devices, including smartphones and computers.

As part of the promotional video, the Frenchman, who made 185 appearances, scoring 82 goals, is the focal point, showcasing the technological power that Snapdragon has, while iconic highlights from United's history are played in the background.

The 58-year-old enjoys a stroll looking at the club's unrivalled trophy collection, stands in an empty Stretford End, and poses for a selfie with iconic manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Following the announcement, United chief executive Jean-Claude Blanc said: "The launch of our new home kit is an exciting moment before the start of every season and especially so this year as we welcome Snapdragon as our new principal shirt partner.

"While the shirt will be the most visible symbol of our collaboration, we are looking forward to using Snapdragon’s processors to enable ground-breaking experiences for fans across the globe, deepening their engagement with the football club they love.

"We always strive to push boundaries of what’s possible and we are excited to be partnering with a company at the forefront of innovation."

The new home strip will be debuted during their pre-season tour in Europe and the US. United will take on Real Betis at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego, home of San Diego State Aztecs football team in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I, where they take on Real Betis in the Snapdragon Cup.
