Erling Haaland remains calm and composed ahead of the Premier League title race run-in. The 23-year-old striker fired Manchester City to a 5-1 win over Wolves at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon, claiming three crucial points.

While the reigning champions trail Arsenal in first by just a point, they've got a game in hand which could prove pivotal by the end of the campaign. Haaland has featured 28 times for Manchester City in the English top flight this season, scoring 25 goals and providing five assists.

The Norway international has played a key role in Pep Guardiola's side as the Spaniard looks to win four successive Premier League titles – something which has never been achieved before. Manchester City are on the brink of history, but Haaland appears to be managing the pressure pretty well.

After putting four past Wolves at the weekend, the Norwegian offered supporters a glimpse of his recovery process. Haaland posted a picture of himself at a beach to his Instagram story with the caption: "Peace."

Despite distancing himself from the rest of the pack in the race for the golden boot, Haaland looked visibly frustrated when he was substituted towards the end of the Wolves game. The Manchester City ace has scored 25 goals; Alexander Isak and Cole Palmer have both managed 20.

Speaking to the official club website at the weekend, Haaland issued a call to arms as Manchester City close in on another title. He said: "Great game, important win. Feels fantastic to score four goals, [and an] important win.

"It was a difficult game, they can play football so it was not easy, but we were solid and we were on a mission, we were so focused on the game and now we focus on the next one."

Guardiola is just a focused as Haaland, it seems. As quoted by the Premier League website, the Manchester City boss said: "If we play Fulham after or before, we have to win and Arsenal knows they have to win.

"And not just the starting XI. The staff, the players, the fans, everyone knows you cannot make one little mistake because you will lose the Premier League. They know it, we know it, what happened in Liverpool in the past.

"We arrived [against Wolves on Saturday] and the players knew, ‘Guys if we don’t win, ciao, ciao, bye bye, next season we see each other!’ It’s not complicated. It doesn’t matter if it’s before or after [Arsenal play their match].

"Hopefully we win against Fulham. [Arsenal] will play in Old Trafford, but [United] play for Europa League. But I said if we don’t win [against Wolves] we won’t be champions, so when that happens it’s easier because you see the level of consistency.

"Since the winter break, the way [Arsenal] are playing, it’s not the fact that they are winning, it’s the way they play, so you smell that they are not going to lose in the games they have left. They are not going to.

"Fulham has been tough for us. Spurs we have never won [away] before in the Premier League. The situation we are in, it will not be easy. Three games, it is in our hands. If we win the games, we will be champions."
