Erling Haaland issues three-word title message to Man City and Arsenal

Erling Haaland has issued a three-word message as Manchester City close in on the Premier League title.

City claimed a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday night courtesy of a second-half brace from Haaland. The victory moved City two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the table with just one fixture left to play.

This Sunday will see City take on West Ham at the Etihad Stadium in their final Premier League match of the season. Approximately 200 miles away, Arsenal will be facing Everton at the Emirates Stadium in their season finale.

Ahead of the weekend, Haaland has posted a message on social media. The Norway international simply wrote three words in a message to both his City teammates and Arsenal.

"Job’s not finished," Haaland wrote on Instagram on Wednesday, accompanied by a fist emoji. The post from Haaland gained more than 280,000 likes at the time of writing.

Victory for City over West Ham on Sunday would secure the title, regardless of what Arsenal do against Everton. A draw with the Hammers would mean that City would have to hope the Gunners also drop points against the Toffees, due to their superior goal difference.

A draw for City and a win for Arsenal would see the title head to North London. As a result, Haaland and Co. will not be taking any chances and will be seeking the three points when they face West Ham this weekend.

Haaland has now scored 38 goals in 43 appearances for City this season and has played a major role in helping the club move closer to a double this term.

As well as the Premier League title, City are also looking to win the FA Cup for a second consecutive season. Pep Guardiola's side will face Manchester United at Wembley Stadium this month.
