Following their relocation from the UK to France and chronicling their journey on "Escape to the Chateau", Dick Strawbridge and his wife Angel Adoree have completed the filming of the keenly watched Channel 4 series. And while the programme has ended, the vision of Dick, 64, Angel, 46, and their two children Arthur and Dorothy remain engrained in the minds of viewers.

Touching on how living under the spotlight has affected their growing children, the couple also shared news about their next venture: "Dick and Angel's Forever Home UK 2024". This interactive tour encompasses a whopping 33 dates scattered around the UK.

Expressing their excitement on Virgin Radio, Angel informed: "We just found out that both the children can come with us for the whole tour, literally seconds ago! ".

At the same time, Dick voiced some parental concern about timing, given Arthur's impending transition to college: "Arthur is now starting college in September, big school, and we were a little bit concerned because he hasn't even started yet."

They took comfort in the fact that their primary school-aged children's academic life blended seamlessly with their travelling experiences. Dick noted, "We've never had any problems with Dorothy and Arthur while they've been at primary school because the headmistress there always says, 'It's education, take them away, they will learn so much from travelling around the place!'" reports the Express.

"We were worried about senior school but he said yes, go for it! " adds Angel in reassurance. The Strawbridges relocated to France in 2015 and took ownership of Chateau de la Motte Husson in Pays de la Loire.

The Channel 4 programme showcased the couple's transformation of a dilapidated property into their dream home. The pair decided to uproot their young family from a two-bedroom flat in Essex and relocate to Martigne-sur-Mayenne in France, where they purchased a rundown 45-bedroom property for a steal at £280,000.

Escape to the Chateau ran for nine seasons, with the final series airing on October 30, 2022, in the UK. Despite the end of the popular show, the couple launched a weekly podcast, allowing fans to continue hearing from them as they discuss everything from their home life to behind-the-scenes secrets from their show.
