Pittis Estate Agents are set to notch up 250 hours of community work this year in celebration of their 250th year on the Isle of Wight.

The Island's long-standing property company announced the launch of their 250-Hour Challenge, an initiative that sees their agents involved in volunteering, marathon running, fundraisers, and other helpful activities across the Island.

This includes organising beach cleans, helping in shops such as Kissy Puppy's Sophie's Shop in Newport, and setting up charity days within their branches.

Neil Piper, senior operations director at Pittis said: "At Pittis, we understand that our responsibility extends beyond homes.

"For 250 years, we have been deeply rooted in this community, and the people of the Isle of Wight are at the heart of everything we do.

"The 250-Hour Challenge is our way of reaffirming our commitment to the well-being of our community and continuing the legacy of giving back that has defined us for centuries."

Pittis is encouraging any organisations and individuals that need volunteers to reach out to their nearest branch.

The agents are looking forward to assisting in various ways, such as helping in shops, cafes, or on gardening projects.

They believe, as a collective, they can make a difference while also celebrating a quarter-century of commitment to the Isle of Wight community.

The estate agency has always been proud of its relationship with Kissy Puppy, an Island charity dedicated to supporting local families, children, and young people.

Serene in their ongoing pursuit of community service, agents of Pittis have taken active roles in numerous fundraising drives, which often involve sponsored walks, runs, and cycles, as well as daring endeavours like abseiling.

Continuing their tradition of wholehearted participation, some agents have already planned ambitious fundraising events for this year.

One bold venture is a Wing Walk for Mountbatten.

Last year, in response to the cost-of-living crisis, the Pittis team rallied to provide assistance to local food banks.

A particular highlight was their agent, Joe Wright, who completed an Island-wide walk in support of the Wight Brainy Bunch.
