A Birmingham fan zone has cancelled all screenings of England's Euro 2024 group game fixtures due to 'unforeseen circumstances'. Fan park '4TheFans' is now only selling tickets for the Round of 16 stage - which Gareth Southgate's side might not even reach.

Half of the tickets for that event were already sold, according to the firm's website. It will be held at music venue Forum, formerly The Hummingbird, where England group clashes against Serbia, Denmark and Slovenia were also organised to take place.

The Dale End venue told BirminghamLive today that tickets for England's group games did go on sale before the cancellation - but that customers will be refunded. It said yesterday the events were cancelled due to 'unforeseen circumstances'.

Forum did not provide a reason for why they were cancelled when asked over the phone. We have contacted the music venue via email for further information.

Organisers had previously promised huge screens, DJs, 'world class sound systems' and football legends giving their commentary for each match. On June 16, Emile Heskey was originally set to commentate the England v Serbia match.

On June 20, Kevin Phillips was placed to commentate the match against Denmark and Steve Claridge for the Slovenia game the following Tuesday. At least 70 percent of the tickets had been sold for all the games when we checked on June 7.
