The 2024 European Championships are set to be a star-studded affair, both on and off the pitch. The tournament, which kicks off in Germany this Friday evening, will see big names added to the BBC and ITV's coverage.

England, who are the pre-tournament favourites, are hoping to end their 58-year wait for another major international trophy. This is likely to be manager Gareth Southgate's last opportunity with the Three Lions.

However, they must first bounce back from their recent 1-0 defeat to Iceland in their final warm-up match. Their first group stage clash against Serbia this Sunday provides an ideal opportunity for redemption.

Following that, they'll face Denmark and Slovenia in their final two games in Group C. If they qualify, they could face a variety of teams in the knockout stages, depending on their group finish.

But who will be the faces and voices guiding us through the tournament?

With the TV rights held by the country's two biggest channels, we can expect some familiar faces.

For the BBC, Gary Lineker and Gabby Logan will return as the main presenters. A host of commentators, including Guy Mowbray, Jonathan Pearce and Vicki Sparks, will travel to Germany.

They'll be joined in the commentary box by Alan Shearer, Jermaine Jenas, and Danny Murphy.

The line-up of pundits for the tournament includes former West Ham manager David Moyes, ex-England stars Wayne Rooney, Frank Lampard, Ellen White and Micah Richards, as well as Brentford boss Thomas Frank.
