Eurovision 2024 final running order and countries as 26 acts set to compete

The Eurovision 2024 grand final takes place on Saturday - with 26 countries set to perform.

Sweden hosts the competition following the victory of its singer Loreen in Liverpool last year, and it is also the 50-year anniversary of Abba giving Sweden its first win with their hit song Waterloo.

Croatia's Baby Lasagna is the favourite to win the 2024 song content with his song Rim Tim Tagi Dim. The second favourite is Israel singer Eden Golan.

The 20-year-old singer, whose song Hurricane was reworked from a previous track called October Rain, thought to reference the Hamas attacks on Israel.

Earlier in the day, thousands of pro-Palestinian protesters walked across the streets of Malmo from Stortorget to Molleplatsen to show their support for Gaza and condemn Israel for taking part in Eurovision amid the war in the Gaza Strip.

The grand final will be broadcast live on BBC One and BBC iPlayer at 8pm on Saturday.

When does UK act Olly Alexander perform in Eurovision 2024 final?

UK contestant Olly Alexander, who is the lead singer of Years And Years, is hoping to impress with his song Dizzy in the final. He will perform 13th out of the 26 acts.

When does Ireland act Bambie Thug perform in Eurovision 2024 final?

Irish entry Bambie Thug have also landed a place in the grand final, making them the first Irish finalist since 2018 following a vote for their performance of Doomsday Blue.

They will perform 10th out of the 26 acts.
