As the Eurovision Song Contest gets underway there are usually some questions about who the performers are and what are the lyrics to their songs. Finland's entry for 2024 is no different as Windows95Man begs that same old question - who, why and what?
UK contestant Olly Alexander, who is the lead singer of pop band Years And Years, is hoping to impress in the final with his song Dizzy featuring an upside-down dressing room staging and cameras rotating to create a spinning feel - but, he doesn't have a giant denim egg, does he? Who is Windows95Man?
Windows95man aka Teemu Keisteri is a well-known entertainer, dancer and sought-after model, widely appreciated in Finland and throughout the world.
A bit shy during the daytime, but when he puts on his uniform - the infamous defunct operating system t-shirt and denim hotpants combo - he transforms into a superman (so says his Eurovision bio).
His DJ sets, consisting of ‘90s Eurodance and techno hits, have been combined with such intense live performances that audiences have regularly been left breathless (again, so says his Euro bio).
The national final performance of No Rules! combined Windows95man’s attitude, Henri Piispanen’s unbelievable vocals, and a mythical denim egg, which lead the duo to an unexpected but indisputable victory in Finland.
