Yahoo News Every Championship player released as retained lists go into EFL and fans await Hull City verdict
The deadline to inform players whether or not they'll be offered contacts has now passed with the EFL's imposed date coming and going on Saturday.
Clubs had until yesterday to make their out-of-contract players, both in the first team and academy aware of their intentions to offer them fresh terms, activate option years or release them.
For Hull City, the Tigers have released Greg Docherty, Cyrus Christie, Adama Traore, Billy Sharp, Aaron Connolly and Vaughn Covil after confirming their details on Saturday night.

City had been keen to wait and leave it as late as possible before confirming their intentions in the hope of having a new manager in place, but that hasn't happened as talks with Tim Walter continue and an appointment not expected until the coming week.
Despite that understandable delay, City were not the only one to leave it until late on Saturday to announce who was leaving and who was staying.
