Here’s everything still to come in London’s massive summer of live music

As summer rolls on, it has been reported that a staggering one million people attended live music events in London last week. Across stadium gigs from Blur and The Weeknd and huge outdoor gigs from Bruce Springsteen, Lana Del Rey and more, the city is undoubtedly becoming the world capital for live music this summer.

Speaking to the BBC, Mayor Sadiq Khan said: “London has been abuzz with excitement over the last week, and given everything that happened during the pandemic, it’s genuinely fantastic that over a million people were able to see brilliant live music last week.”

Come September, 2023 could easily be looked back on as being the greatest summer of live music in London’s history, and the city isn’t quite done just yet.

Across the rest of July and through August, more world-beating stars are coming to town for stadium gigs, special one-off shows and festival sets, adding to what has already been a record-breaking summer.
