EastEnders evil Dean Wicks is set to be back on screens next week, but from inside the prison he has been held at. He makes plans to speak with his daughter Jade Masood (Elizabeth Green) after he had been framed for the murder of Kenau Taylor (Danny Walters).

Dean was stitched up by The Six in a clever move that made some fans feel justice had been served years after evil Dean had raped Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) in her flat above the Vic.

Dean plots his chance to speak to Jade and sends her a letter requesting that she comes to visit him in prison, but Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner is quick to put her foot down.

Stacey manages to convince Jade not to go and see Dean and she is supported in that decision by her mum Jean Slater (Gillian Wright).

Instead the mum and daughter duo arrange a leaving party for Jade at the Vic to distract her and keep her away from Dean. However when an outside influence, Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James), speaks to Jade the plan to keep Jade from Dean may well unfold.

The episode then sees Dean protesting his innocent at the prison - he remains adamant that he did not tamper with Jade's medication and the he had nothing to do with the killing of Keanu.

Despite fans knowing the truth - will Dean be able to get Jade to see his perspective or will the forces on Albert Square work to keep her from finding out the truth?

You can find out on EastEnders which will air at 7.30pm on BBC One from Monday April 22.
