Exact date for another 'heatwave' as Coventry braces for downpours

A new weather map shows that warmer weather could be hitting the country in just two weeks. It suggests that the Midlands, including Coventry and Warwickshire, and south east England are to see temperatures rise by Sunday, July 14.

The latest map from WXCharts shows an 'orange' wave of heat hitting the country, according to the Mirror. But, before that, our area is set to see temperatures fall 'below average'.

That is according to the latest local Met Office report for our region. There is also a risk of 'heavy downpours' tomorrow (July 3) with an unsettled weekend ahead of us.
