Thunder storms are set to hit Coventry and Warwickshire early this afternoon. The Met Office has put a ten hour long yellow warning for thunder in place across parts of the country, including our area, from 12noon today (May 12).

According to the latest local online forecast, thunder is set to hit our area at 2pm today. The thunder showers are set to last around an hour, with sunshine then forecast from 3pm.

The threat of rain will then return later on this afternoon but it will remain warm. However, the temperatures tomorrow (May 13) are set to feel cooler than they have in recent days.
