Exciting new bar opens its doors in Edinburgh offering agave spirits and cocktails

Owners of a brand new bar have opened the doors to their venue in Edinburgh.

Chancho Agaveria welcomed customers into their new venture located on 7 Bernard Street in Leith on Thursday, May 9. After weeks of teasers being released on social media, the bar has now officially opened for business.

The owners, Rachel and Alex, explained on social media that they are excited for locals to come in and try their selection of agave spirits, cocktails and beers.

The pair also own a second bar in the capital, Hey Palu, which can be found on 49 Bread Street. Locals can visit the venue from Tuesday to Thursday, 5pm to 12.30pm, Friday 5pm to 1am and Saturday 4pm to 1am.

Taking to Instagram, to make the exciting announcement, they said: "We (Alex and Rachel) are excited to officially open the doors of our new bar and welcome you today from 5pm to enjoy our selection of agave spirits, cocktails and beers.

"And a HUGE thank you to our Hospo pals wo came yesterday for our soft launch. You were all very kind while we got into our groove".
