An 'exciting' new food, drink and games venue, is opening in Grantham very soon. The venue at 7 High St, previously operating as the Sir Isaac Newton, was taken over by One Leisure Ltd, the management group behind The Bierkeller brand, this year and is opening after a renovation.

The Bierkeller is known for it’s large and versatile venues which include multiple rooms - The Bierkeller Hall, The Bierkeller Lodge and Shooters Rack ‘n’ Roll games and sports bar. Klubhaus by The Bierkeller will bring the best of these three spaces together in one room, boasting delicious food and drinks, regular live music and bar games including table football, English and American pool tables, darts and ping pong.

Dave Howarth, Brand Manager of The Bierkeller said: "Klubhaus is a unique Bierkeller concept that we hope will be a great fit for Grantham and for the venue itself, which we know was much-loved under it’s previous owner. It’s been great connecting with local businesses and the community in Grantham so far and we’ve been blown away by how welcoming everyone has been. There’s also a great talent pool here.”

The food menu will include The Bierkeller’s classic menu of iconic bratwurst, loaded fries and stone-baked Pizza by Doughboys, but will also feature starters/small plates and mains unique to the Klubhaus Klubhaus boasts a huge selection of drinks including classic and hand-crafted cocktails, German, world and local beers (the bar will house 18 draught pumps!) and of course, The Bierkeller’s signature two-pint bavarian beer and cocktail steins. They will also offer great sharers like beer towers and table-top keggies.

The opening is set for Friday, May 17, from 5pm and will feature food tasters and a live band. Guests can RSVP to secure a complimentary drink on arrival by emailing klubhausgrantham@thebierkeller.com. Klubhaus is also offering free games throughout May.
