Fresh off the back of their self-produced Nightmares Before Christmas tour, the drag duo expressed their excitement for DragCon UK 2024 in an exclusive interview with Digital Spy.

"I love DragCon!" Anubis exclaimed. "I'm really excited for it because I feel like last year it was all a bit stressful and last minute. I didn't plan it too well and I regret that. So, I think I learned a lot from that.

"Coming forward for this next project I think I'm just going to completely go out there and I want to make my booth something that's almost like an immersive experience when you walk in."

Hinting further at the "immersive" plans she has for the convention, Anubis teased: "It's going to be something I've never done before".

"It's going to be a really cool booth that is centred around my Egyptian heritage, but also my kind of horror style of drag," the queen explained. "I'm going to be bringing some kind of 3D and 4D elements to my booth that are going to be quite cool."

Charity also delved into her plans for the upcoming event, confessing it's going to be a difficult task to beat the impressive Exorcist theme she wowed fans with previously.

"I'm very excited for DragCon. Last year I did my Exorcist on the bed thing, which I was very proud of – it took a long time," she remarked. "There's some pressure this year now that I've got to do something big and exciting.

"So, I mean, I have a concept. I'm working on that now and I'm hoping that it's close to the same level as last year."

DragCon UK 2024 runs from 13-14 January and tickets are available now.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK airs on BBC Three in the UK and streams on WOW Presents Plus in the US.
