Aw, could there be a mini-Saturdays romance in the works?

Rochelle Humes has revealed that her two-year-old daughter Alaia-Mai has a crush on band mate Frankie Bridge’s son, Carter, also two. TOO CUTE!

“I popped over to see Frankie and Parker, and her new little boy Carter. I took Alaia over there and she’s obsessed with Parker!” she exclusively told Yahoo Celebrity.

“There might be a romance there who knows… He keeps asking for her now. Have we started something?”

Well, not if Alaia’s dad, The Voice UK host Marvin Humes, has anything to say about it. “Marvin’s like, ‘She’s not having a boyfriend!’ “ added Rochelle.

The singer-turned-telly star is back on screens in the New Year hosting Ninja Warrior UK on ITV with Ben Shephard and Chris Kamara. That’s just a few weeks after wrapping up a highly successful stint on The Xtra Factor with Melvin Odoom.

Rochelle admits that her burgeoning TV career is exactly what she wanted to do during her time away from the chart-topping Saturdays.

“I really enjoy TV. We set aside our different [reasons for the] break, mine was to do TV,” she explained.

But that doesn’t mean the girl band - also consisting of Frankie, Vanessa White, Una Foden and Mollie King - have split up for good.

Rochelle says, “We’ve never shied away from the fact that we’re taking a break and aren’t doing anything for this year and next year, we always said that.

“We’re definitely not split up. There’s no need for us to split up - we can all do our own individual projects, but there’s no need to call it a day.”

Rochelle recently watched on from the sidelines as her husband Marvin took part in a celebrity Ninja Warrior UK special in aid of Text Santa.

Quizzed about his performance, she said, “He didn’t do as bad as I thought.” Quite the vote of confidence, Rochelle!

The proud wifey admitted there was some friendly rivalry between Marvin and former TOWIE star Mark Wright over who could go furthest in the obstacle course.

“The celebrity bunch were the most competitive. They pretended they weren’t but they were eyeing each other up. Mark Wright was up first and he did well, so then [Marvin] was like, ‘I’ve got to beat Mark now.’ Everyone takes it seriously,” she said.

Would Rochelle be keen to have a go at the course herself? Not a chance.

She explained, “When we got asked to do the show, Ben was like, ‘I’ll only do it if I’m allowed to do the course.’ And I was like, ‘I’m only doing it if I don’t have to do anything.’ “

Ninja Warrior UK series two begins on Saturday 2 January at 7pm on ITV
