Burrows said: “I’ve had a great time being an Exeter Chief and I feel like I’ve made some great friends during my time at Sandy Park. I’ve learned a lot from the players around me as well as the coaches. I’d like to thank everyone at the club for their support and help.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge of testing myself in a URC environment with Dragons but also, the chance to be closer to home is going to be really nice for me after nearly four years in Devon.”

Burrows returns to Wales having represented them at age-grade level – both U18s and U20s – so will look to further develop his game under Welsh eyes.

Dragons heead coach Dai Flanagan added: “Oli is a big man and is still young at 21 (years-old), but he has a lot of potential.

“It’s great we can bring someone like him back home to Wales, he is an ambitious player who will look to drive competition in the front row. He’s a former Wales U20 international so we are excited to see how he can develop further here at the Dragons.”
