Exeter City announce more pre-season friendlies including St James Park date

Exeter City's pre-season campaign will conclude with the visit of Eastleigh to St James Park on Saturday, August 3, with a 3pm kick-off.

The National League outfit have had several links to Exeter City over the years, with former Grecians' skipper currently at the club, while Nigel Atangana, Luke Croll and Aaron Martin have all turned out for the club in recent seasons. Vincent Harper also joined City from the Hampshire side in June 2023.

Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed for this fixture and they will go on sale at a later date, but supporters who gave up their season tickets for the final game of last season against Oxford United will be contacted in due course with the offer of a free ticket for this fixture.

It comes as two more pre-season friendlies have also been confirmed. On Tuesday, July 30, on the same day the Grecians will travel down to Plainmoor to face Torquay United, City will face Brentford B in a behind-closed-doors friendly.

While the annual pre-season trip to Tiverton Town will take place on Tuesday, July 9, with a provisional kick-off of 7.30pm.

The match will take place on the same day as a potential semi-final for England at Euro 2024, which would be scheduled for 8pm. To avoid a clash, if England make it to that stage of the tournament then the match at the Ian Moorcroft Stadium will instead kick-off at 6pm.
