Yahoo News Fans have just discovered that two Surviving Summer cast members are dating IRL
Surviving Summer is just the feel-good Netflix series we need right now. The show landed on the streaming platform on 3rd June, and it's the ultimate form of travel escapism.
Season one sees rebellious New York teenager Summer Torres travelling to Australia after being expelled from school. Sent to live with family friends in a small town named Shorehaven, the teenager finds herself falling in love with surfing, while also forging relationships with a group of local surf fans.
While fans have quickly become obsessed with the series, sending it straight into Netflix's top 10, they're *just* as invested in the lives of cast members off screen. And there's exciting news: two Surviving Summer cast members are actually dating IRL!
While they've kept things fairly private so far, Surviving Summer actors Savannah La Rain and Sky Katz (above left and middle) appear to be dating off screen, with the pair playing Bodhi Johnson and Summer Torres respectively.
Fans of the show discovered the news after noticing the on-screen chemistry between Summer and Bodhi. One viewer tweeted, "Just found out the two actors from Surviving Summer are dating, no one touch me, the gay girls won this one."
Sky appeared to confirm her relationship with Savannah back in January, sharing a birthday tribute to her co-star on Instagram. Posting a series of cute selfies and videos, plus pics of the pair cuddling and holding hands, Sky wrote, "I could write a book about how much I love you. Happy birthday Sav ∞ i miss you insane amounts, my angel."
Fans are, of course, obsessed with the fact that Sky and Sav are dating off screen, with one commenting on Instagram, "I LOVE THIS, IT'S MADE THE SHOW TEN MILLION TIMES BETTER."
