Corrie producer Iain MacLeod has already teased that Courtney and Darren will be the focus of a "fun, fiery storyline" in the ITV soap, with reports suggesting Courtney will have a secret affair with Aadi (Adam Hussain).
The character made her first appearance when Darren asked Aadi if he’d mind driving to collect her.
The pair started chatting as soon as Courtney got into the car, with a spark between them already evident.
Fans were thrilled to see Davis — who previously appeared in Holby City and Hollyoaks — on the cobbles and said Courtney was a great addition.
“Haha Courtney is hilarious!” one posted on Twitter.
