Fans tickled as Dan Walker takes aim at Piers Morgan over Meghan Markle
The television presenters have butted heads for years
Dan Walker has had a pop at his old rival Piers Morgan, calling him out over his stories on Meghan Markle and saying she thought the broadcaster was a “numptie”.
The pair have been feuding for years and frequently butted heads over their old shows BBC Breakfast and Good Morning Britain and who was beating who in the ratings.
Things have ramped up again in recent days, in the wake of Walker’s terrifying bike accident, which left him battered and bruised.

The Channel 5 star talked about the crash on stage at the RTS Television Journalism Awards and made a joke about storming off in a “huff” – which seemed to be a dig about Morgan walking off Good Morning Britain amid a row about some of the things the Duchess of Sussex said in her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
What a laugh 😂
Interesting idea of taking a lesson on bitterness from a fella who has written article after article attacking a woman who had one drink with him & thought he was a numptie 😬
We missed you last night.
You should have come ❤️ https://t.co/A63DRJEErJ— Dan Walker (@mrdanwalker) March 2, 2023
Morgan, 57, later tweeted that Walker was “bitter” and suggested that he “only got press these days by falling off a bike, getting a few grazes, and milking it”.
However, Walker has now hit back with a comment about Morgan’s ongoing criticism of Markle and Prince Harry.
Sharing Morgan’s tweet, the 45-year-old wrote: “What a laugh.

However, one tweeted: “You two need to grow up a bit!”
