Farage and Campbell have epic fall-out in live debate

Nigel Farage and Alastair Campbell had a serious falling out on Good Morning Britain.

The duo appeared on the ITV breakfast show today (March 27), to discuss Brexit as Prime Minister Theresa May prepares to trigger Article 50 on Wednesday.

As the pair put forward their views, the debate became extremely heated extremely quickly.

Even hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid looked shocked as the tense exchange unfolded.

"At one point I thought @gmb bouncers were going to have to make an appearance this morning for Farage v Campbell," Susanna tweeted afterwards.

Campbell in particular appeared agitated during the live debate, as he slammed Farage for supporting Brexit.

He said: "I am genuinely worried that we have committed – and you have helped bring about – an act of economic and political suicide and that we are going to go into rapid decline.

"We're going to be a laughing stock!"

Of course, Farage didn't quite agree.

He hit back: "How is it political suicide to make your own laws in your own country? Do you loathe democracy so much? What is wrong with running your own country?

"The last opinion polling I saw said if there was a referendum tomorrow 68% would vote to leave. And millions of people have realised the pack of lies that we were told, that our house prices would collapse."

Campbell then called for another referendum in to give Britain a chance to opt out of leaving the European Union one last time.

"Believe me, Brexit can be stopped," he added, prompting Farage to declare: "The war is over!"
