Father suspected of killing wife and three children at French farmhouse before shooting himself
A father is suspected of shooting dead his wife and three children at a French farmhouse before killing himself.
Police discovered five bodies at the house on Tuesday morning in Pont-à-Bucy near Nouvion-et-Catillon in the Aisne region of northern France, about 40 miles from Reims.
The victims include two boys and a girl aged 14, 18 and 20. Their parents were both aged 47.
The bodies were discovered at about 8.15am on Tuesday by a farm worker, who called the police.

A report referred to the tragedy as a ‘family incident’.
Police suspect the father shot his family dead before turning the gun on himself.
A source in the public prosecutor’s office told the AFP news agency it was a ‘family tragedy’.
The source said: ‘We do not know the cause of the tragedy, we did not find a goodbye letter.’
