Faversham and Mid Kent General Election results 2024 in full as Conservatives hold on to seat

The Conservatives have held on to their Faversham and Mid Kent seat in this year's General Election. Helen Whately will continue to represent the constituency at Westminster, having held the seat since 2015.

The Tory candidate received 14,816 votes in total. Labour followed closely behind with party member Mel Dawkins scoring 13,347 votes.

Taking third place was Reform UK, with 9,884 votes for Maxwell Harrison. Meanwhile, the Green Party outperformed the Liberal Democrats in Faversham and Mid Kent, as Hannah Temple secured 4,218 votes.

Hannah Perkin of the Liberal Democrats took home 4,158 votes, while the British Democrats scored 171. A total of 46,763 people attended to take part in the vote - a turn out of 63 per cent.

Faversham and Mid Kent joins nearby Maidstone and Malling in being maintained by the Tories, while the Conservatives have lost a number of key Kent seats elsewhere to Labour and the Lib Dems.
