Good news for our beloved Brad Pitt. The ‘Allied’ star will not be charged by the FBI for an alleged altercation between him and his son Maddox on a plane in September.

Brad was accused of getting “physical” with his eldest son on a private jet as the family headed back to the US from France, which supposedly prompted Angelina Jolie to file for divorce and the media frenzy surrounding their short lived but acrimonious custody battle.

FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller confirmed in a statement that Brad won’t be charged, saying: “The FBI has conducted a review of the circumstances and will not pursue further investigation. No charges have been filed.”

Angelina was said to have been questioned by the FBI in October over the alleged incident amid her fight to retain full custody of their kids.

Despite things looking up for the 52-year-old actor, it’s thought he has a long way to go to mend his fractured relationship with the children.

His 41-year-old ex-wife has primary custody of Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and eight-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne and it’s believed at present, Brad, 52, is allowed to have supervised visits.

Kris Herzog, a bodyguard who works for both the family and Angelina’s father Jon Voight, said the star’s meetings with his children haven’t gone well so far.

He said recently: “Brad is so angry. From what I’ve heard from Brad and Jon, even the kids are turning against him. He’s alleging they won’t even speak to him and they won’t call him Daddy or Father. They’ve had two meetings with Los Angeles family services and in both none of the kids would talk to him.

“He stormed out of the second one really angry, it was the straw that broke the camel’s back. This fight is going nuclear now.”

Brad is still seeking joint legal and physical custody of the children, three of whom were adopted by Angelina before the couple began dating in 2004.

They wed just two years ago, in a private ceremony at their estate in Provence.
