Morgan (Lennie James) and Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey) are led by Max (Ethan Suess) and the other kids to the people who kidnapped Althea (Maggie Grace).

But on the way there, Max orders everybody to get to the ground.

On the ground, Morgan and Alicia spot a helicopter hovering above and flying away. That helicopter has the same symbol – three interlocking circles – as the one that took Rick and Jadis away on the main show.

"Why are they leaving?" Max wonders.

"Maybe they got what they came for," another kid replies.

Fear the Walking Dead previously showed that same symbol in the season 5 premiere, but it's unclear at this stage exactly what this means for Rick and the movie spin-off that's being planned.

"There's a little thing that turns into kind of a big thing that connects to something outside of both shows, which people will be seeing," Walking Dead chief content officer Scott Gimple recently said, when asked about the symbol.
