Fears grow for missing schoolgirl, 15, who may have travelled to city centre

Fears are growing for a missing Birmingham schoolgirl. Aisha, 15, is missing from her home in Winson Green.

Police said they were becoming increased concerned for her welfare. West Midlands Police said Aisha, whose surname was not revealed, may have travelled into Birmingham city centre.

She was last seen wearing a black skirt, fur coat with a hood and carrying a brown and cream River Island bag. Police said the public should dial 999 if they know where she is. Police confirmed to BirminghamLive she's still missing today, Thursday, June 20.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Birmingham Police posted: "#MISSING | Can you help us locate missing Aisha? The 15-year-old has gone missing from her home in #WinsonGreen #Birmingham and we’re becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare. Aisha may have travelled into Birmingham city centre.

"Aisha is described as being 5ft 2ins tall with short brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black skirt, fur coat with a hood and carrying a brown and cream River Island bag. If you can help call 999 quoting PID 443853."
