Fears grow for missing teenager in Greater Manchester as police say they're 'increasingly concerned'

Officers have issued an urgent appeal to find a teenager who is missing in Greater Manchester. Police say they are 'increasingly concerned' about Riley.

The youngster is currently missing from home in Wigan. The 15-year-old's surname has not been given by Greater Manchester Police.

An appeal has been posted on social media this morning (July 5) to find Riley. Police have released a photo of the youngster alongside the appeal.

In the photo, Riley can be seen with dark brown hair with a fringe. A GMP Wigan spokesperson posted on Facebook: "Officers are becoming increasingly concerned about Riley and would like to ensure he is safe and well."

Anyone who sees Riley or has information on his whereabouts is urged to come forward as soon as possible. Contact GMP on 101, quoting the missing reference number of MSP/06LL/0001706/24.
