Ferne McCann Breaks Down As She Fails To Secure A Date on ‘Celebs Go Dating’

Bad times for former TOWIE star Ferne McCann – as it looks like she’s about to head into the Celebs Go Dating final without a sexy man by her side.

Well, if you go on national television looking for a date, you do run that risk, hun.

Speaking to so-called dating experts Lady Nadia Essex and Eden Blackman, she got a bit teary-eyed as she explained: “I wasn’t doing this for a fling. I feel like a failure and like I’ve been left on the shelf.”

OH BABE COME HERE AND HAVE A HUG.

Following a string of less-than-ideal dates on the show (who could forget that dude who wanted to just touch her all the time?) the I’m A Celebrity alumnus said that she felt like she needed to ‘tone down’ her true self in order to nab herself a date.

Oh chick, number one rule – never change yourself for a fella.

She said: “I’ve learned to be myself but just tone it down a little bit. Dating isn’t a waste of time no matter how good or bad those dates can be.”

But whilst things might not be looking up for Ferne in the love department, her career continues to do extraordinarily well.

The Sun reported that the former reality star is now looking at a career in music, following a successful stab at acting on stage.

After getting close to former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton on Celebs Go Dating, the Essex beauty has been given the confidence to pursue her dream of a music career.

A source told The Sun’s Bizarre column: “Ferne is a secret songstress. She has been in the recording studio recently and things are going really well.

“She recently played a bit of a swing version of That’s Life that she has recorded and the reaction has been great.

“She is a lady of many hidden talents.”

Who needs romance when you’re a female boss, eh Ferne?
